Day 2

So, yesterday I didn't drink all 60oz of lemonade. I put too much cayenne pepper, and it was too hot...I only drank about 1/4.
And I did the sea salt thing, it worked in the morning, but last night it didn't. It didn't even make me go pee, so I don't know were the 35oz of salted water have gone!

Today, lemonade, lemonade, lemonade. But I might give up the pepper, it's only here for its vitamines, and take vitamines instead.

I'm happy, yesterday was the first day in a long time that I didn't eat anything! So far it's going great, I'm not too hungry.

Have a good day girls!

  1. It might not have worked if you still had the lemonade or water inside you, because apparently your tummy has to be empty for the salt water flush, or so I've read :) Well done for managing to drink it though, I tried once and was nearly sick!

  2. Well done :) You seem to be having an easier time than the time I tried it. Trust me, about 8 hours into it and my stomach was rumbling and I was craving every food you can mention :( xx

  3. it's really bad for you if you don't have an effect from the salt water. so make sure you drink tons of water if it doesn't work. otherwise, put more salt in the water. i usually do 3tsp-4tsp the first few days. also, it's important you look for grade b maple syrup if you plan on going all 10 days. grade a lacks nutrients and is more refined. i'm not an expert but i've read and researched the master cleanse a ton because my mom and i do it once/twice a year.

good luck to you and stay strong after about day 4 it gets easier. what i did to make it seem like i was drinking more was 2 cups of water 3-4 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon and 1 tbsp maple syrup, 4-6 times a day depending on how hungry i felt.

  4. The really unfortunate thing about sea salt is that it makes you retain water like crazy. The last time I did a sea salt cleanse, it took me like a week to get rid of all the water weight. Coffee helps with that because it's a natural diuretic. Drink tons of regular water and that should help also.

  6. I think the cayenne is important because spicy food increases the metabolism.
