I did a lot of walking. I went shopping with a friend for 3 hours, only sitting down to eat (not even 10 minutes), then I walked back to my flat, 5.2 miles in 1 hour and a half.
It burnt at least half of what I ate, didn't it? please say yes...
of course you burned A LOT of calories :)

ReplyDeleteYes - you definitely burned off all of that. That's a really significant amount of walking, not including the really significant amount of calories you burn just from being alive, breathing, digesting, thinking, talking, etc. (BMR). I calculated mine today. Here's the website if you want to do the math. If you don't want to do the math, you can use mine - we're the same height and weight, but yours is a little higher because you're 8 years younger.

Mine was 2,200 cals - I picked moderate activity level for my 5x/week of exercising (thanks 30 day challenge!) Even if you ate 1,000 cals every day, you'd still have a deficit of around 1,000 based on your BMR. That's a lot. I think you ate really healthy today - keep it up!
